HARBIN, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- Siberian tigers, otherwise known as Amur or Manchurian tigers, are one of the most endangered animals in the world. They mainly live in eastern Russia, northeast China and the northern part of the Korean Peninsula.
The Siberian Tiger Park is an important base of the China Hengdaohezi Feline Breeding Center, the world's largest breeding center for Siberian tigers in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
According to the park, Siberian tigers have entered the mating period. The Siberian Tiger Park has increased food supplies and adjusted the composition of feed to improve the nutrition of Siberian tigers.
The mating period of Siberian tigers usually lasts from December to February. For Siberian tigers, the gestation period is about 105 days.
