BEIJING, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- Xie Jilai, a former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial People's Congress, is being investigated for suspected serious violations of Party discipline and law, according to the country's top anti-graft body on Wednesday.
Xie is under investigation by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission. ■
