JAKARTA, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Take a look at the Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) at Medan Zoopark in North Sumatra province, Indonesia.
Sumatran tigers are critically endangered as fewer than 400 are holding on for survival in the remaining patches of forest on the island of Sumatra.
The upcoming Lunar New Year marks the Year of the Tiger, which is the third zodiac sign in the Chinese zodiac cycle.
