BEIJING, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Domestic drama "Embrace Again" continued to lead the Chinese mainland box office chart on Monday, statistics from the China Movie Data Information Network showed Tuesday.
The tear-jerker finished the day with 8.87 million yuan (about 1.4 million U.S. dollars) in box office sales, accounting for more than 20 percent of the daily total.
"G Storm," the fifth installment of a crime thriller franchise, came in second, raking in 5.65 million yuan on Monday.
It was followed by a comedy movie "Another Me," with a daily box office earning of 5.3 million yuan on its 17th day of release. ■
