Zhejiang FC and Chengdu Better City were promoted to next season's Chinese Super League (CSL).

SUZHOU, China, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- China League One side Zhejiang FC has been promoted to next season's Chinese Super League (CSL), after drawing with Qingdao FC 0-0 in the second leg of their playoff here on Wednesday.

Chengdu Better City, who claimed a 1-0 victory over CSL side Dalian Pro on the same day, also achieved promotion to the CSL.

As part of a revamped format, the third and fourth seeds in the second-tier League One will vie for a place in next season's top flight with the 15th- and 16th-placed teams in the 16-team CSL through a playoff.

Zhejiang's sole goal was scored in the 71st minute when forward Luo Muluo struck a powerful volley near the box which deflected off a defender and bounced in.

The four teams from League One to be promoted to the CSL are Zhejiang, Chengdu, champion Wuhan Three Towns and runner-up Meizhou Hakka.
