BEIJING, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- Shenzhen Aviators center Shen Zijie was named the second Player of the Month in the 2021-2022 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) season on Saturday.
Shen shot 90.9 percent from the floor to average 17.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.4 blocks in the past seven matches as Shenzhen recorded 6-1 down the stretch.
Shenzhen ranks seventh among 20 teams with a 13-6 record so far.
Zhejiang Lions power forward Hu Jinqiu was the first winner of this season's CBA monthly award.
