Several men and women were spotted walking four-legged robotic dogs down the streets of Shanghai, China.
The special "canine pets" attracted much attention from those passing by.
The robotic dogs can walk at speeds of up to 4.7 m/s.
They can be operational for more than 1.5 hours on a single charge.
Apart from keeping people company, the animal-mimicking robots can also be used for search and rescue missions.
