An English language video produced by Xinhua News Agency which parodies James Bond to point out U.S. hypocrisy on spying has received wide attention in overseas media.
The video, titled "No Time to Die Laughing", features two agents named "0.07" and "0.06" who held a secret virtual meeting after Richard Moore, Chief of the MI6, made China the agency's top priority.
The video was first released on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube on Tuesday. It was retweeted by Richard Moore shortly after it was posted online.

In the video, the agents appear to be talking about the dangers of Huawei and "Chinese spying" on the United Kingdom while it is eventually revealed the real threat of spying comes from the United States.
The production has received reviews from multiple media organizations such as The Guardian, The Independent and Business Insider. Many positive comments also pour in on media platforms Twitter and YouTube from a diverse audience.

Netizen "Genetic Engineer" wishes to see more episodes, commenting "Well done guys, Bravo!!! Make more of these!" on YouTube.
Another user, nicknamed "Last First" on YouTube, concurred, commenting "Great skit".
A YouTube viewer nicknamed "WinterBerry" was so impressed with the portrayal of Bond that they commented “Better than James Bond movies”.
The upload of the video on New China TV’s YouTube platform also received praise in other languages. Commenting originally in French, YouTube user "jeremie Ozog" said "Excellent! First comment sent from France on a Huawei phone!"
