XI'AN, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, has been battling a new COVID-19 resurgence since early December.
The megacity, with a population of 13 million, imposed closed-off management for communities and villages on Dec. 23, to further curb the spread of the virus.
Expats living there are impressed with how China tackles the pandemic, calling Xi'an "the safest place on earth."
