Many farmers have successfully popularized and sold local farm produce and by-products via live-streaming and short video platforms in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, central China’s Hubei Province.
This year, the farmers have expanded their sales by marketing their goods to end-users across the whole country thanks to a training program which instructs them how to sell their goods through phone filming and video editing on live-streaming platforms. Live-streaming now has become a major motivation for rural revitalization.
Photos show some live-streamers selling their products like honey, tea and homemade masks, while others presenting pictures of impressive scenery to the audience to promote local tourism.
