RIYADH, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- Saudi-based Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) announced on Thursday the further expansion of its membership.
It welcomed Rwanda as a member state, meaning "the DCO is now representing more than half a billion people globally following its establishment in November 2020."
The DCO is a multilateral organization dedicated to enabling a globally inclusive digital economy.
Rwanda will further strengthen the organization's impact in creating a more inclusive global digital economy, DCO Secretary-General Deemah Al Yahya said.
The DCO's current membership includes Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Rwanda. Enditem
