ZHENGZHOU, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Fuxi Mountain area, located in Xinmi of central China's Henan Province, used to be a poverty-stricken area. In recent years, Fuxi has been making full efforts to develop tourism industry. More than 20,000 local residents in Fuxi had cast off poverty.
In order to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation, Fuxi Mountain area plans to build some new projects to attract tourists and help locals further increase income.
