U.S. President Joe Biden's administration's decision to engage the U.S.' intelligence agency to investigate the origin of COVID-19 is unacceptable, an influential Bangladeshi lawmaker has said.
"Nobody should politicize the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a problem and should be tackled collectively," said Hasanul Haq Inu, chairman of Bangladesh's Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in an exclusive interview with Xinhua on Sunday.
The political veteran also thanked China for offering assistance to Bangladesh in its fight against the pandemic.
