Many countries throughout Europe have seen a resurgence in COVID-19 cases over the past several weeks. Due to fear for second wave of coronavirus in Europe, governments are scrambling to contain new emerging clusters of the virus, stepping up restriction measures, including making mask-wearing compulsory once again. The measure of compulsory wearing of masks adopted in many countries was justified with new research, which proves if all people wear masks, the possibility of virus transmission could decrease significantly.
