BEIJING, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Foreign political leaders said they appreciate the Communist Party of China (CPC) for timely sharing its experience in combating COVID-19 with all parties and proactively promoting international cooperation in anti-epidemic efforts.
In messages sent to the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, they said such moves have vividly embodied the idea of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Bhokin Bhalakula, vice president of the strategic committee of Thailand's Pheu Thai Party, said that people around the world will realize that building a community with a shared future for mankind is an essential prerequisite for achieving peace, harmony and prosperity.
Bhokin, also former Thai deputy prime minister, voiced resolute opposition to the politicization of public health issues, discrimination against any country, region or race, and disruption of international cooperation in epidemic response.
Joseph Kabila Kabange, founder of the People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy and former president of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, said the CPC has always put people's life and health first, and has actively worked with the international community to promote the health and well-being of all humankind.
The notion of a community with a shared future for mankind, advocated by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, is the best way for all countries to jointly build a prosperous, stable and united homeland, he added.
Bashiru Ally, secretary general of Tanzania's ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), said that as COVID-19 cases emerge in Tanzania, the CPC sent in timely messages to introduce its experience, which will effectively help the CCM and the government to defeat the epidemic.
Tanzania is willing to make concerted efforts with the CPC to tide over the difficulties, Bashiru added.
