RIO DE JANEIRO, March 13 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro tested negative for COVID-19, confirmed his official Twitter account and Facebook page on Friday.
Bolsonaro, his family and several members of the government were tested after the president's press secretary Fabio Wajngarten was confirmed to have been infected with the virus on Thursday.
Wajngarten accompanied Bolsonaro on a trip to the United States over the weekend, where he met with Trump, Pence and other White House officials at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
