JERUSALEM, March 13 (Xinhua) -- Israel reduces military training as part of the efforts to slow the coronavirus spread, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman said on Friday.
Israeli army will immediately stop all reserve units' ground training until mid-April, the spokesman said.
The IDF emphasized that exceptional reserve training will need a special approval by the head of IDF ground forces.
A total of 17 Israelis tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 126.
