DHAKA, March 13 (Xinhua) -- One of Bangladesh's three COVID-19 patients has been discharged from hospital in capital Dhaka.
Professor Meerjady Sabrina Flora, head of the country's Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) under the Health Ministry made the announcement at a press briefing Friday.
Out of the three cases in the country, two are Bangladeshi returnees from Italy while another one is their family member in Dhaka.
Flora said another patient who also recovered from the disease is still kept in hospital.
The third patient is in stable condition although he has not recovered fully, she added.
In the last 24 hours, samples of 24 persons were tested for COVID-19 and none of them were positive.
