TORONTO, March 13 (Xinhua) -- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's wife has tested positive for the new coronavirus, the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement Thursday.
"Following medical advice, she will remain in isolation for the time being," the statement said, adding that the prime minister himself exhibits no symptoms of COVID-19.
"As a precautionary measure and following the advice of doctors, he will be in isolation for a planned period of 14 days," but will not be tested, the statement added.
As of Thursday, at least 93 cases and one death have been reported in Canada.
