ALGIERS, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Algeria and Morocco agreed on Thursday to suspend bilateral flights as a precautionary measure against the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
According to a statement, "Algiers and Rabat on Thursday jointly agreed to suspend flights between the two countries as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the corona epidemic."
Algeria has already suspended flights to several destinations worldwide, including Italy, China, Saudi Arabia.
Algerian Health Ministry on Thursday announced the second death case from the COVID-19.
The latest figures show that the number of confirmed infected patients with COVID-19 increased to 26, including two death cases.
