RABAT, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Morocco has decided on Thursday to suspend air flights and passenger sea traffic to and from Spain amid COVID-19 concerns until further notice, Moroccan government said in a statement.
The decision came after consultation with the Spanish authorities, it added.
Moroccan King Mohammed VI and Spanish King Felipe VI consulted on this subject earlier on the day following discussions which took place between the heads of governments and the ministers of the Interior and Foreign Affairs of the two countries, the statement added.
Morocco and Spain, two neighboring and partner countries, are working in full coordination to counter this global pandemic, it said.
