LONDON, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Three Leicester City players have shown symptoms of infecting COVID-19 and have been isolated from the rest of the squad, revealed manager Brendan Rodgers of the Premier League club on Thursday.

Leicester City are due to play at Watford on Saturday, but the match is on doubt even if there hasn't any testing for the players.

"We've had a few players that have shown symptoms and signs (of coronavirus). We've followed procedures and (as a precaution) they have been kept away from the squad."

So far, the only Premier League match affected by the outbreak of coronavirus is the game between Arsenal and Manchester City.

The match scheduled on Wednesday has been postponed, following the news that Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis has recently contracted coronavirus.

A few Gunners players were in self-isolation as they met Marinakis after their Europa League game with Olympiacos on February 27.

The 14-day isolation period for Arsenal players expires on Thursday and the London side are expected to travel to Brighton for their Premier League match on Saturday.
