MAPUTO, March 11 (Xinhua) -- Mozambique's national airline Linhas Aereas de Mocambique (LAM) announced Wednesday that it has been proceeding to combine flights to domestic destinations due to significant reduction in air traffic following the impact of COVID-19 outbreak.
In a press release, LAM said that on routes where traffic reduction is marked, especially those connecting abroad, flight cancellations may occur, with passengers being rescheduled to go to market partners.
The company also said it would change the ticket dates for the customers who, under medical procedures related to COVID-19, have been recommended not to travel.
LAM's flights cover 11 destinations in the domestic market. On the African continent it has flights to Johannesburg, Dar-Es-Salaam and Nairobi.
