JAKARTA, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- The number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 922 in the past 24 hours to 4,220,206, with the death toll adding by 88 to 142,261, the Health Ministry reported on Monday.
According to the ministry, 2,656 more recovered patients were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recoveries from the pandemic in the Southeast Asian country to 4,046,891.
To date, at least 53 million people in Indonesia have received two shots of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 94.22 million have taken their first dose, the ministry said. Enditem
