JAKARTA, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- The number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 2,881 within one day to 4,201,559, with the death toll adding by 160 to 141,114, the country's Health Ministry said on Thursday.
According to the ministry, 4,386 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of patients recovering from COVID-19 to 4,012,448.
To date, at least 46.98 million people in Indonesia have received two shots of vaccines, while 83.24 million have taken the first doses, the ministry said.
Indonesia is targeting to vaccinate 208.2 million people. Enditem
