XIAMEN, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Some foreign expats living in Xiamen have contributed their part to the fight against a new cluster of COVID-19 infections in the coastal city in east China's Fujian Province.
Xiamen had registered 131 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Saturday. It has completed its first round of citywide nucleic acid testing.
As of Saturday noon, about 2.15 million residents have been sampled in the second round of citywide testing, accounting for 41.7 percent of the total, according to local media.
During the mass testing, some foreign volunteers joined the community services against the pandemic.
