NEW DELHI, July 7 (Xinhua) -- India's COVID-19 tally rose to 30,663,665 on Wednesday as 43,733 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours across the country, showed the federal health ministry's latest data.

Besides, 930 deaths due to the pandemic since Tuesday morning took the total death toll to 404,211.

After continuously falling in the past few days, both new cases and deaths rose sharply during the past 24 hours.

There are still 459,920 active COVID-19 cases in the country.

A total of 29,799,534 people have been successfully cured and discharged from hospitals so far, out of which 47,240 were discharged during the past 24 hours. Enditem
