MOSCOW, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed after an An-2 aircraft crashed in Russia's Krasnoyarsk region, local media reported Friday.
The plane crashed about 40 kilometers from the settlement of Tanzybey, killing one of the two people on board, TASS said, citing the regional emergency services.
Earlier, the press service of the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office said that at around 5 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), an An-2 aircraft made a hard landing in the remote Krasnoyarsk region after completing aerial work.
The circumstances and causes of the incident are under investigation, it added. ■
