BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 27 (Xinhua) -- A total of 140 students from Delima Primary School participated in an event on climate change, organized by Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd in partnership with Big BWN Project in Brunei, local media reported on Friday.

The event included an engaging and interactive curriculum that integrates climate change science, environmental conservation, and sustainable practices through fun theater and edutainment into the existing academic framework, the local daily Borneo Bulletin reported.

The Big BWN Project aims to empower and educate the younger generation about the pressing issue of climate change. In 2024, the Climate Change Environment Education Outreach Project aims to implement workshops in 12 schools across Brunei.

Brunei is an oil-rich country in Southeast Asia, located in the northern area of the island of Borneo, with a population of over 450,000 and a high level of social welfare.
