BEIRUT, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- A Lebanese Army soldier and three civilians were injured Wednesday in an Israeli airstrike on an army vehicle in Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Army Command said in a statement that the soldier was seriously injured in the Israeli strike, while three civilians were also injured.
A Lebanese Red Cross source told Xinhua that its teams transported the injured from the strike site, with one in critical condition.
Southern Lebanon has seen heightened tensions amid continued Israeli airstrikes and tensions along the Lebanese-Israeli border. ■
