KABUL, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- A traveler was killed and eight others sustained injuries after a minibus collided head-on with a minitruck in Afghanistan's western Nimroz province late Tuesday, provincial police spokesman Mawlawi Gul Mohammad Qudrat confirmed Wednesday.
Blaming reckless driving for the mishap, the official added that some of the injured were shifted to the hospital in critical condition.
Previously, a similar mishap claimed one life and injured 27 others in the eastern province of Laghman on Monday. ■
