BEIJING, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted West of Macquarie Island at 1739 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 56.9 degrees south latitude and 147.22 degrees east longitude. ■
