BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 25 (Xinhua) -- The 33rd Consumer Fair & Trade Expo was officially opened on Wednesday at the International Convention Center near Brunei's capital, Bandar Seri Begawan.
The five-day event, running from June 24 to 28, aims to support trade, business growth, regional cooperation and public engagement in Brunei, according to the organizer D'Sunlit Sdn Bhd.
The expo brings together local and international businesses, including established companies and emerging enterprises, providing opportunities for networking, collaboration and commercial growth.
During the opening ceremony, D'Sunlit highlighted this year's theme, "Multiply the Moment," encouraging exhibitors and visitors to build connections, explore ideas and maximize opportunities.
Key highlights include the Brunei Local Micro and Medium-Sized Enterprises Pavilion in collaboration with the Brunei Economic Development Board, the Brunei Wood Product Expo, and international showcases such as the Mega India Expo, Halal Philippines Pavilion, and industry exhibitions from the neighboring Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak. ■
