At the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), Jennifer Jordan-Saifi, CEO of the Global Council of the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI), shared her views on China's role in advancing sustainable development and global cooperation.
She said China is moving at remarkable speed and that the world has much to learn from its experience, particularly in areas such as the green transition and advanced manufacturing. She highlighted China's long-term commitment to sustainability and described the country as "a reliable partner" for investors and businesses.
The SMI, launched by King Charles III in 2020, serves as a platform for the business community to participate in global sustainable development efforts.
CISCE, the world's first national-level expo dedicated to supply chains, gathers 676 companies and institutions from 85 countries, regions, and international organizations to display how AI, advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and healthcare innovation are reshaping global industries.
