NEW DELHI, June 16 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and several others suffered burn injuries Monday after a fire broke out at a pub in the southwestern state of Karnataka, officials said.
The fire broke out at a premium two-storey resto-pub in Mysuru district.
According to fire brigade officials, firefighters rescued 15 people from the building, and the fire has been doused.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. However, police suspect the fire was triggered by a short circuit. ■
