KABUL, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The private sectors of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have signed 10 cooperation agreements worth 112 million U.S. dollars, Afghanistan's Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced Monday.
The agreements were signed following joint business meetings attended by officials from Afghanistan's Ministry of Industry and Commerce and representatives from Uzbekistan, according to the ministry.
The agreements, covering cooperation in trade, investment and industrial production, aim to strengthen economic ties between the two neighboring countries. ■
