HANOI, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's gross domestic product (GDP) is forecast to grow 7.2 percent in 2026 and 7 percent in 2027, the Vietnam News Agency reported, citing a report released by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Friday.
The Southeast Asian country's inflation is also projected to rise to 4 percent this year and decline to 3.8 percent next year, according to the report.
The bank said Vietnam faces significant downside risks to growth amid prolonged conflicts in the Middle East, as well as uncertainties surrounding U.S. tariff policies and economic slowdowns among key trading partners, the report added. ■
