BEIJING, March 9 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Mariana Islands Region at 1907 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 21.68 degrees north latitude and 143.54 degrees east longitude. ■
