CAIRO, March 7 (Xinhua) -- Tensions across the Middle East escalated further on Saturday as a new wave of strikes and threats between the United States, Israel and Iran rattled the region, claiming more lives, triggering mass displacements, and disrupting vital oil supplies.

The United States
