RIO DE JANEIRO, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Colombian club Alianza FC recovered from three goals down to salvage a 3-3 draw at Brazil's Cruzeiro in their Copa Sudamericana group stage match on Thursday.
Goals from Lucas Romero, Jose Silva and Matheus Pereira gave Cruzeiro a 3-0 lead in the 19th minute at the Mineiro stadium.
But Emerson Martinez reduced the deficit in the 53rd minute before he added a second goal 11 minutes from time. Jesus Olaya put Alianza on level terms with a 96th-minute strike.
The result leaves Cruzeiro third in Group B, a point ahead of Alianza FC.
In other Copa Sudamericana fixtures on Thursday, Delfin drew 1-1 at home to Belgrano, Coquimbo prevailed 1-0 at home to Sportivo Luqueno, hosts Lanus overcame Deportivo Garcilaso 2-1 and Cuiaba won 2-0 at Metropolitanos. ■
