ROME, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Roma's perfect record under Daniele De Rossi came to an end on Saturday as they suffered a 4-2 home defeat to Inter Milan for the latter to register seven consecutive wins on all fronts.

Newly-appointed head coach De Rossi had led Roma to win three consecutive Serie A games, but found themselves on the back foot in the 20th minute when Romelu Lukaku's poor clearance fell for birthday boy Francesco Acerbi to finish with a looping header.

Roma got back on level terms minutes later when Lorenzo Pellegrini's free kick found Gianluca Mancini to steer in a header, before Stephan El Shaarawy made it 2-1 on Pellegrini's another assist on the stroke of half-time.

The away side got the equalizer minutes into the second-half when Matteo Darmian burst down the right and rolled across for Marcus Thuram to tap it in from a close range.

Inter restored the lead in the 56th minute with a stroke of luck as Henrikh Mkhitaryan's cross forced Angelino to prod it into his own net.

As Roma were pouring forward in the closing stage, Inter staged a counter-attack in the 93rd minute as Marko Arnautovic set up Alessandro Bastoni to seal the win.

With a game in hand, Inter are seven points clear of second-placed Juventus who host Udinese on Monday.

Elsewhere, Ciro Immobile's 200th Serie A goal helped Lazio beat Cagliari 3-1 away, Sassuolo shared the spoils with Torino at 1-1.
