NEW YORK, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted 41 km WSW of Sola, Vanuatu at 21:11:49 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 188.4 km, was initially determined to be at 14.00 degrees south latitude and 167.19 degrees east longitude. ■
