WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted 271 km SE of San Jose Village, Northern Mariana Islands at 1351 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 13.38 degrees north latitude and 147.54 degrees east longitude. ■
