FUKUOKA, Japan, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Sweden's Sarah Sjoestroem claimed her fifth straight world women's 50m butterfly title here at the Fukuoka World Aquatics Championships on Saturday.
The 29-year-old claimed the gold in a time of 24.77 seconds, the sixth fastest of all-time, only behind five of her other performances.
China's Zhang Yufei, the 100m butterfly champion, finished second in an Asian record of 25.05 seconds.
Gretch Walsh of the United States took bronze in 25.46. ■
