FUKUOKA, Japan, July 26 (Xinhua) -- China's Qin Haiyang earned his second gold medal at the World Aquatics Championships with a convincing swim in the 50m breaststroke final on Wednesday.
Qin, who claimed the 100m breaststroke title two days ago, honored his promise to strike a golden double by touching in the fastest time of 26.29 seconds.
American Nic Fink, the defending champion, took silver in 26.59. Qin's fellow Chinese Sun Jiajun finished third in 26.79. ■
