LA PAZ, June 5 (Xinhua) -- Bolivia head coach Gustavo Costas has named six foreign-based players in his squad for friendlies against Ecuador and Chile, the local football federation said on Monday.
Among those included on the 28-man list were Independiente del Valle striker Marcelo Moreno, Real Zaragoza defender Jairo Quinteros, Lama midfielder Danny Bejarano, Atletico Paranaense forward Fernando Nava, Santos midfielder Miguel Terceros and Servette playmaker Boris Cespedes.
Bolivar is the best represented club with 12 players, followed by The Strongest (seven) and Wilstermann (two).
La Verde will meet Ecuador in New Jersey on June 17 before hosting Chile in Santa Cruz three days later.
The fixtures will be Bolivia's last chance to fine-tune preparations for the South American 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament, which begins in September.
