YANGON, April 15 (Xinhua) -- The traditional Thingyan water festival is grandly celebrated across Myanmar.
People in the Southeast Asian country mark the annual festival with a nationwide display of colorful performances, merit-making activities and bucketloads of water.
This year's water festival of Myanmar will run until April 16 and the Myanmar New Year falls on April 17.
