NEW YORK, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- The Sacramento Kings edged the Rockets 130-128 in Houston, and the Cleveland Cavaliers crushed the Detroit Pistons 113-85 at home in the NBA regular season on Wednesday.
De'Aaron Fox made three free throws with three-tenths of a second left to seal the win for the Kings after Eric Gordon was charged with a debatable shooting foul.
The tough game featured 22 lead changes. Fox collected 31 points, but Houston's Jalen Green scored a game-high 41 points.
The Cavs-Pistons game witnessed the absence of Cavs' All-Star starter Donovan Mitchell. Jarrett Allen scored 20 points, Evan Mobley added 19 to lead the Cavs.
The Cavs led by 18 after the first quarter, but the Pistons cut the deficit to two points in the third quarter.
Cleveland outscored Detroit 37-17 in the final period.
Elsewhere, the NBA-leading Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers 106-99, the Toronto Raptors defeated the San Antonio Spurs 112-98, the Miami Heat upset the Indiana Pacers 116-111. ■
