KARACHI, Pakistan, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- More than 60 Hindu couples got married in a mass wedding ceremony arranged by the Pakistan Hindu Council in Karachi, Pakistan.
At the ceremony, brides wore a red sari, gold jewellery and traditional Indian bridal makeup with red lipstick and eye shadow, while grooms could wear a sherwani or a bandhgala suit which complements the color of the bride's attire.
The colourful ceremony has helped underprivileged couples tie the knot in the presence of hundreds of Hindu families across the country. Notable dignitaries and members from the civil society also participated in the event.
