DOHA, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- France coach Didier Deschamps has made two changes from the side that defeated Morocco in the semifinals for the World Cup final against Argentina on Sunday.
Central defender Dayot Upamecano and midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who both missed the semifinal with a virus, return to the side at the expense of Ibrahima Konate and Youssouf Fofana.
Raphael Varane, who missed Friday's training session with the same virus, is fit to play alongside Upamecano, while Kylian Mbappe, Olivier Giroud and Ousmane Dembele lead the French attack.
Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni has opted to bring Angel Di Maria back into his starting 11 and switch to a flat back four, with Nicolas Tagliafico keeping his position at left-back, despite Marcos Acuna's availability after suspension.
Di Maria accompanies Rodrigo De Paul, Enzo Fernandez and Alexis Mac Allister in the middle of the park for Argentina, with Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez in attack. ■
